The Greatest American
The Discovery Channel had a poll as to who we as Americans believe to be the “Greatest American” and the winner was...Ronald Reagan.
The Republicans had 3 names in the Top 6. George W. Bush beat Clinton. whoo-who!

I believe Matt Lauer will host the show to announce the winner this Thursday.
Lauer will probably choke on his words, when he makes the announcement. It will surely be difficult for him.

I wonder how many takes it took for him to say that list.What gets to me is that Elvis and Oprah Winfrey make the list. Cant people tell the difference between entertainers and people that actually change America for the better.
I hate to admit it but Oprah does do a lot for people. Even though she is a Liberal, she actually spends a lot of money on helping people.
But then again, if the whole world knows about it, you have your reward. :)
True she gives alot of money away but makes a production out of it. I dont feel she belongs up there with some truly great philanthropist.
