Defeat the New Iraq Constitution

I know the above title sounds strange, but wait to here me out.

The Sunnis did not participate in the original regional elections for representatives to draft the new constitution so they just about assured themselves that the 20% Sunni population would not get good minority protection in the new constitution.

But, the saving grace is that if the vote for the new constitution is defeated in two-thirds of voters in any three provinces, the constitution will be defeated and new elections would need to be held to draft another constitution. Sunnis have the majority in at least four provinces.

In any Constitution there needs to be protections for the minority. It is no different in Iraq.

Let's hope that the defeat of the Constitution will not cause more unrest, and the process will begin anew with the Sunnis correcting their boycott mistake of the first elections.

The Company You Keep

We are all judged by the company we keep. Rightly or wrongly it is a fact of life. Let's list the company that Conservatives and Liberals keep to get a prospective on how perception is reality.

We should ask ourselves the following questions:

1. Why are most Christians Conservatives?
2. Why are most Socialists Liberals?
3. Why are most Atheists Liberals?
4. Why is Larry Flint a Liberal?
5. Why did China and the U.S. Communist Party want Kerry to win?
6. Why did Osama Bin Laden want Kerry to win?

And last but not least ask yourselves which of the following goals by the Communist Party are favored by Liberals? (see Communist Manifesto )

1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of wastelands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, &c., &c.

Point 5 is of course the Federal Reserve.
Point 6 is of course the FCC and the Department of Transportation.
Point 10 is to have people think that the world owes them an education and a living. Next it will owe them a house and a car, both necessities to get by. You begin to think that you can get something for nothing. It is “free.”

That is why Vouchers are so important; we can promote competition in schools, all the while making it more evident that the education is not “free.”

Let's be continually aware of which people want to destroy our way of life and how they are winning converts right here at home by gaining support for their goals.

Communism has not gone away. It is alive and well right here in our own back yard. It's little brother is called Socialism, (Communism without a gun to your head), and it has won the hearts of many liberals. If your a liberal and don't believe it, then ask yourself why your goals are so closely aligned with theirs.

Now, I have many liberal friends and they are mostly good hearted people, many don't support Socialism, at least not knowingly, they are sincere in their positions, all I ask is for those who oppose Conservatism, to please examine the goals of those who want to destroy our way of life. How is this War Different

When you are fighting a Country, the war becomes clear as to how to prosecute the strategy.

But when the war is against an ideology, such as Wahabism, and that ideology is in many countries, then how can you defeat them?

To defeat any opponent you usually must have both an offensive policy and a defensive policy. I know that defense wins championships, but the offense must get the ball and score some points.

In Vietnam, it was mostly a defensive war; occasionally we would venture out on “sweeps” to engage the enemy. That was the offense policy. It was the goal of the Democrats, Kennedy and Johnson, as well as the Republicans, Nixon, to train the South Vietnam Army to be able to stand upon their own two feet and defend their own country.

But alas we pulled our monetary support and they began to loose because of supply and maintenance failures. Then we pulled out. And if we would have maintained our support monetarily and militarily for about one more year, we would have been able to see them do the job.

So, what is our offensive policy today against another non-uniformed enemy? Draw the enemy to the sandbox by showing them we will take away one of their prized possessions, 25 million possible converts to Wahabism, called Iraq citizens.

This means that they will spend their efforts in an area where they hope to have the highest percentage chance of reaching their goals of:

1. Convert as many Arabs to Wahabism as quickly as possible.
2. Kill as many Saturday people, (Jews), as possible.
3. Kill as many Sunday people, (Christians), as possible.
4. Kill as many Secular people, (the rest of the non-Wahabi people), as possible.

To most thinking people it is a good strategy, because their ideology is set in stone. It is not negotiable. They will be here blowing up people and places here if they were not in Iraq doing the same thing because it is their goal, their idology, not because they hate America! They hate all non Wahabis, and that will never change.

Does Right and Wrong Matter?

No matter what anyone ever tells you, right and wrong means a lot because if not, people wouldn’t be trying to prove others wrong.

As C.S. Lewis once said,
"If I think making love to another man's wife is alright and she consents - is that wrong?

If you disagree with me, who is right?

If we have no moral point of reference, what you think is no more right or wrong than what I think."

The above is called moral relativism.

We must view all actions within the framework of right or wrong because we make laws based upon what is right or wrong.

Laws against theft are there because society believes that it is wrongful behavior.

All "Moral and Ethical" questions have a right or wrong answer. If someone says the answer is "grey" then he is basically agreeing, because he is saying the answer is not "clear" which one it is. The reason we don't know is one of the reasons below.

The only times there are "grey" areas are:
1. We aren't framing the question correctly enough.
2. We don't have all the needed information.
3. We don't really want to know the right answers because then we can't be accused of doing anything wrong. We just made a "mistake" instead of doing a morally wrong act.
4. We are too stupid to figure out the truth.
5. We are blinded by the craftiness of men.

People who say the answer is grey are not saying there is no absolute answer, at least subconsciously they aren't.

Every one is born with a conscience. The great German philosopher Immanuel Kant pointed to the "moral law within" as a powerful witness to the greatness of God.

As C.S. Lewis pointed out the scientific method of finding things out doesn't apply to morals or ethics because it doesn't answer the question of "why" and "if" there is anything behind observations we make.

These questions are for the Philosophical or Metaphysical to answer.

We live our lives based upon what we "ought" to do. If we just made it up, (moral relativism), then we would never allow ourselves to "fail" our own standards.

This is because it is with us when we are born. "I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts." (Jer. 31:33)

In other words we are born with our conscience.

We are continually either "climbing up the moral ladder towards perfection", or we are "sliding down the moral slide towards moral bankruptcy."

Sliding is always easier than climbing and we are seldom, if ever, standing still.

Next Up from the Left - Price Controls

Well since the dems continue to disregard our economy as a "free market" economy, what part of it will they attempt to tinker with next?

"Price Contols." Even though recent history has proven that they only make things worse, the people, voters on the left, will clammor for Congress to do something about what they percieve as Bush's fault, i.e., China's increase in demand for oil.

So, we will have forgotten about the long gas lines at gas stations and then the stations that had no gas. What good will it do us to have low gas prices if we pull up to the pump and there won't be any? Would you rather pay $2.65 per gallon and be able to get gas, or $2.10 per gallon and not be able to find any?

The left believes their religion, government, can do anything. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Just pass a law....problem fixed!

Here we go again, just watch my prediction, the cries for "Price Controls" are coming!

The Robin Williams Peace Plan

The Robin Williams' Peace plan from here

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan.

1.) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good ole boys.' We will never "interfere" again.

2.) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3.) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. They're illegal! France will welcome them.

4.) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5.) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6.) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7.) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8.) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9.) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10.) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH.....learn it...or LEAVE.....

Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want a piece of me?"

Giving Away Gaza

Sharon has committed a huge blunder. Giving in to the terrorist’s demands is wrong.

While there are a million Arabs and only eight thousand Jews in Gaza, many if not most of the Arabs don't want the Jews to leave either.

Many of the Arabs are Christian. They will be slaughtered immediately.

Sharon's idea is to be able to bomb a territory if need be, but he forgets that not all of Gaza will be terrorists. At least not until all of the ethnic cleansing is completed.

On the Jewish Calander the "9th day of Av" is when this pullout has gotten under way. What a fitting time for this to happen. This infamous day is a day of calamity that has been a bad day for Jews since the first century. Reference

Why a Jihad?

In a reply to a comment on Jen's Blog I explained why being in Iraq doesn't matter to the Wahabis, the radical Islamic Fundamentalists. So I thought I would turn it into a post since it is so important to understanding why.

It is all about a Religious War to them.

Abraham had two sons; Isaac and Ishmael.

Through the lineage of Isaac came David and the Jews and of course Christians.

Through the lineage of Ishmael came Mohammad and his religion called Islam.

The sons of Ishmael have always been jealous of Isaac and the fact that he was the favored son.

The Wahabis are a sect of the Islamic faith that is intent upon proving that their religion is the true religion. So much so, their plot is to "Blow up the Jews and the Christians" so that they might spoil what the Jews perceive as the first coming of the Messiah.

In bible prophecy it is the first coming for the Jews and to Christians the second coming of the Messiah.

He is to come to the valley of Megiddo, which is in the western portion of the Plain of Esdraelon 50 miles north of Jerusalem. It is there that the Messiah will fend off the invaders during the battle of Armageddon.

The Wahabis figure if they can make the valley of Megiddo void of Jewish life then they will have proven that the Jewish Messiah is fake and the Christian Messiah fake as well. Kill two birds with one h-bomb, er, stone.

There you have it. That is why they don't care if we are in Iraq or not. It doesn't change their plan to destroy or Nuke the Jews first and then us second. Their cry has always been "The Saturday people first, the Sunday people second." Either way they see it as victory for Islam, which is their only goal.

And now you know why they could care less about any land settlement or other negotiations or appeasement.

Being pacifistic will only make it happen sooner.

Free Trade

Everyone should be for Free Trade and I am a big supporter of the global free market system.

However, I am also a big proponent of Nationalism and against giving any of our soverign power over to regional governments such as is happening in Europe and the "Common Market" where a new European Government that would take over the national governments of the "European Economic Community", better known as the EEC is being brought into existance.

George Soros

George Soros is supposedly in favor of the new "Free Trade Area of the Americas" better known as the FTAA.

FTAA is supposedly meant to establish "Regional Authority" to manage the "free trade" agreements.

If he is in favor, maybe we should start doing our homework before our congressmen are supposed to vote on this.

Self Reliance

Being Independent is one of the ideals our Founding Fathers had in mind to help us remain Free.

In some ways, being equal can take us towards dependence and not independence. The reason we get different grades in school is that rewarding excellence can be beneficial to the rest of society by bringing cheaper and better products because people can see the blessings of being rewarded for their efforts.

We all want equal rights, but we don't want everyone to be the same or equal. Being different is O.K. as long as it isn't being deviant/immoral or harming someone else.

If we care for one another, we show it by giving through charity from our heart.

If we don’t care for one another, we vote to have the government force money from our neighbors and us and give most of it to administrators and a small token amount to the needy.

This builds a cycle of dependence upon those that receive the handout from the government. Another reason this cycle is a problem is it destroys self-esteem of the recipient.

If you lend someone money there is a good feeling of the person who is paying the loan back that they are being responsible and a valuable member of society.

But, when the government gives other peoples money to someone, then the recipient feels bad that they had to get a handout, they feel like they are beggars.

The Democrat party and the Left leaning Socialist idealogs in the United States want to keep people dependent upon their handouts because it gives the Democrats power.

Some people argue that many in this country don’t like the free market system and want to have Elite planners in D.C. take care of us from the cradle to the grave. They say that anything that encourages dependence such as public subsidized mass transit and other social programs will further their goals.

Socialism tries to make everyone equal or the same. This is the opposite of being Independent or self reliant.

Here is to being self reliant and free because socialism is diametrically opposed to freedom.

Religious Tolerance

When I was in Marketing, I went to several seminars that pointed out one thing that when held to the light, underscores the Golden Rule with great Clarity.

“Promote your product, don’t negative-sell someone else’s.”

I believe with all my heart that we should be tolerant of other’s religion. Catholics should not bad-mouth Protestants, Baptists should not bad-mouth Methodists, etc.

“Tell me why yours is better.”

Of course, I don’t mean that you should do it in the Blogosphere. Tell me when we are one-on-one and when I bring it up.

The above is how we should act towards others religions. With one exception!

If we believe that there is a religion that is the “Church of the Devil” then we should point it out. But, be careful; make sure it is truly the one and only “Church of the Devil.”

My feelings are that any organization that tries to destroy freedom is part of Satan’s church, but if there ever was a religion that could teach the opposite of the Golden Rule, I think we know which one that is.

You see, the Christian faiths, yes almost all of them believe in the teachings of Christ, which includes the Golden Rule. This rule can be synonymous with the word “Tolerance.”

There is one Religion that is synonymous with “Intolerance.” Do I need to say which one it is? Listen to a quote from their holy book:

“Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power. Including steeds of war, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know” - Verse 8:60

Did you know that one religion teaches that they must wage war to impose their religion on everyone else?

Did you know that there is a religion that has been trying to destroy Christianity for more than 1300 years and one of the defensive reactions was the Crusades? Yes, the Crusades were a defensive action, not an offensive one.

Let us be tolerant to all religions save one. And let us know who that enemy really is.

To Test Freedom

How can you tell if you are voting correctly as far as it pertains to freedom?

Let us consider the proper way to evaluate each ballot measure…..

Pretend you are part of a 9 house neighborhood and the role of Sheriff is a rotating honor that each head of house assumes each week.

Now it is your turn to be Sheriff. One of your neighbors has been reported to be in possession of stolen goods.

How would you feel about going to your neighbor and telling him he is under arrest for suspiscion of possession of stolen goods? I am sure most of us would be able to feel justified in making that move.

Now, suppose you are told that your neighbor has been observed not wearing his seat belt and there is no law against it at this time. Would you feel O.K. with going over to his house and telling him he “must” wear his seat belt for it clearly is harming others?

No, I wouldn’t and I don’t think you would either! You see, the test of when to use government, (force), is when it is clear that you would feel comfortable doing it because it is clear that your neighbor is infringing upon others rights.

Would you feel comfortable going to your neighbors house and saying, "give me some money because the widow Jones is broke, and if you don't I will take you to jail?"

Is taking from those who have earned it, to give to those who haven't, really justified by the above test?

If you would not feel comfortable doing it, then you should not vote to make it a law.

Stealing is clearly infringing upon others rights. Not wearing a helmet or seat belt does not infringe upon others.

Some would claim that their death from not wearing a seat belt or helmet would “impose” upon others, but the key is it would not “infringe” upon others.

The classic definition of freedom to act is…”My freedom to swing my fist ends where your nose begins.”

Let us be cognizant of how our vote can take away others freedoms when we vote because the purpose of passing laws is almost always to take away freedom.

“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." - George Washington

Bolton In - Recess Appointment Done

John Bolton is officially the Ambassador to the United Nations!

For all Dems, Bolton is the one on the right in this picture.

Take that Dems! Your stalling tactics defeated!

Bush Wins!

Now, if only we could help Bolton get rid of this monster called the U.N.

Instead of calling this thing the United Nations, we should call it the Unimportant Nonentity.

This organization is all about destroying Nationalism and does little to promote liberty. It is funded for the most part by our tax dollars.
